This pretend play camping trip was loads of fun! Lots better than that one time my BFF convinced me Sophomore year (OF HIGH SCHOOL), that it would be a good idea to go on a secret overnight camping trip up the canyon with a couple of dumb 16 year old boys who forgot the dumb tent poles and got busted when they drove back into town like a couple of dummies to fetch them and then dumb boy number one’s mom called my mom and I got grounded while my friend got off with a warning.

Phew.

I’m really sorry, Mom. I had no frontal lobe.

Anyway.

Preschool Camping Day for the win! Fine Motor fishing. Campfire songs and stories. S’mores, the pretend play kind and the snack in a cup (graham cracker, marshmallow, chocolate chips) kind. Outdoor scene sensory table, cloud sensory bins, a whole lot of play with some happy campers!

I make it my life’s work to coordinate my wardrobe with my preschoolers. I feel like I kind of rock at it.

Print these babies (I find that 8 to a single sheet of 8.5x11 card stock works great), cut them out, and hot glue a safety pin to the back of them to make badges for your little campers!
